RULES
The contest is FREE and open to all underwater photographers,
including pictures taken in apnea.
Three categories are defined for this contest: MACRO,
ENVIROMENT AND PHOTO EDITING. And...
...Giorgio Sangalli,
owner of
Sportissimo,
with a SPECIAL AWARD will personally give a recognition to
the picture that will be considered deserving for his own
judgement and...
... A SPECIAL MENTION: Luca and Manuela, staff of
PianetaBlu, will be glad to host for scuba diving the author
of the picture they will consider all-worthy.
Competitors can send one picture for
every category specifing the category they want to be entered.
For Macro and enviroment categories, photo-retouches
are admitted only if finalized to balance color, shape or small
imperfections. Pictures crisply edited will be unfitted.
Registration procedure:
Pictures must be sent to
info@scubaportal.it
before 20th September 2006 with the objects: PICTURE FOR THE CONTEST.
The e-mail message must include:
- name and surname:
- complete address:
- telephone number:
- title of the picture:
- category:
- place of the picture:
- date:
- subject:
- camera and equipment info:
The picture must be sent in JPG format, measuring max 640 x 480
pixel - resolution of 72 dpi - max size 150 Kb.
ATTENTION PLEASE! Don't send pictures bigger than 150 kb (they
wull be cancelled and invalidated).
GIURIA
The judging method
Pictures will be published on-line and rated by a special panel,
whose decision is unchallengeable.
Timing for rating: from 1 to 15 October 2006 Pictures will pe
published also for an on-line poll so that ALL ScubaPortal forum
registered members can vote the pictures that will crown the
on-line winners.
Two special awards will be given by unchallengeable judgement of
Giorgio Sangalli for Sportissimo Milano and by da Luca and Manuela
for PianetaBlu.

GIVING
On 16 th October 2006 the winners of the
contest will be published in the site
www.scubafoto.it
and will be warned by e-mail. The images will be projected
during a night meeting in Milan (Italy) and in that occasion
awards will be given to winners.
Award night: Thursday 19 October, Milan (Via
Ripamonti, 21 from 21.00, in the shop of
Sportissimo).
IMPORTANT NOTE: award will not
be sent but the winners MUST get them during the meeting |

All the pictures sent for this contest will be filed by the
organization and published in the site.
These images, in accordance with the copyright laws, are
considered clear of any artistic property right and the authors
authorize the organization to file, copy, print and publish these
picture with the only obligation to indicate the name of the
author.
This rules can be changhed in every moment and the
organization is not forced to warn the registered competitors. |
